Hosted by Tom Papa, the part action movie and part traditional quiz show, Boom! pits three contestants racing against the clock to diffuse eight goo-filled fake bombs by answering trivia questions correctly. The multiple-choice responses are represented by different-colored wires, but only one is correct. If the nominated player “defuses the bomb” by getting an answer right, the prize money builds and the contestants move on to the next device. But, if they get it wrong, that contestant is eliminated. If at least one player is standing, they’ll take on the Mega Money Bomb where they’ll have a chance to win an additional $50,000! The show was produced in partnership with Keshet DCP.
